Book Sale Item Donations

 

​The Friends of BML accepts material donations for their book sales. Funds raised through these book sales go toward library programming for all ages.

 

Guidelines:

A limit of two bags of book sale items can be brought to Brighton Memorial Library per day. If you have a larger donation, please email the Friends at fbml.booksale@gmail.com to arrange for delivery or to have the items picked up by the volunteer group.

 

When choosing items to donate, please ask yourself, "Is this in nice enough condition to give as a gift?"

BML accepts in good condition:

• Books for children, young adults, and adults

• Audiovisual materials (audio books, CDs, DVDs)

• Magazines (up to one year old)

• Textbook (up to five years old)

BML cannot accept:

• Damp, musty, or damaged books

• Records, VHS or cassette tapes

• Encyclopedias

• Homemade recordings

• Items not in resale-ready condition cannot be accepted.
