  • Pick up an Adventure Begins at Your Library Scavenger Hunt in the Children's Center on Tuesdays in July. Win a small prize for finding everything on the list. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                                                              
  • Drop in for a new and different art project each Friday through August 9 from 10 AM-Noon, while supplies last.                                                                                                                                    
  • Join local performer Joanne Brokaw for our Tween & Teen Comedy Improv Workshop on Tuesday, July 16 from 1:30-3:30 PM. Open to grades 4-12. Registration required. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                                     
  • Our Nonfiction Book Club will meet Wednesday, July 17 from 10:30-11:30 AM when they discuss Maud Newton's book Ancestor Trouble: A Reckoning and a Reconciliation. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                       
  • Missy Read will lead us in a fun and interactive sing along at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 18. Best for ages 2-5 with a caregiver, but all ages are welcome. Space is limited.   • Join us for a Lord of the Rings Trivia Night on Thursday, July 18 from 6:30-7:30 PM. Best for tweens, teens, and adults, but all ages are welcome. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                             
  • Learn about snails and other invertebrates through hands-on activities and end with an actual snail race on Monday, July 22 at 10:30 PM. Best for ages 8 and up. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                                                 
  • Bring your Dungeon Master and play D&D in this gaming session of our Dungeons & Dragons Club. The fun will run from 3:30-5:30 PM on Monday, July 22. Open to grades 6-12. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                  
  • Stop in for an assortment of self-directed craft projects to be done in the library on Tuesday, July 23 from 1-3 PM. The target age group is grades 4-8, but all are welcome. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                                                 
  • Our 2022-2023 BML Foundation Annual Campaign is in full swing. Help expand our services and benefit the entire community for years to come by donating to BML.                                              

  • The Friends of Brighton Memorial Library Bookstore is open. Most items are $1.​
