• Join the Story Book Cook on Friday, February 21 from 2-3 PM and whip up some tasty snacks that tweens can create for themselves at home. Open to grades 3-8. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                                          
• Join us for a bilingual storytime in Mandarin and English Sunday, February 23 at 2 PM.                                   
• Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club will meet again Monday, February 24 from 3:30-5:30 PM. Open to grades 6-12. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                             
• Toddlers and their caregivers can dance out their sillies during our Wednesday, February 26 Toddler Dance Party. Join us at 10 AM. Designed for ages 18 months to 3 years, but all ages are welcome.                                                                                                                                             
• Learn how to take the stress out of dinnertime during our Thursday, February 27 program, Kids in the Kitchen: A Parent's Guide to Exploring Food with Your Littles. Registration required. Sponsored by Friends of BML. For adults. Begins at 6 PM.                                                                               
• BML will open at 11 AM rather than 9 AM on Thursday, February 27 for our monthly staff meeting.                                                                                                                                                   
• In honor of Earth Day, we've partnered with Neighborhood Forest again to provide your child with a free tree. Sign up between March 1-15 to receive a tree. The exact date the trees will be available for pick up will be announced later.                                                                                         
• Enjoy a performance by Dunleavy Irish Dance on Saturday, March 1 from 1-1:30 PM. Kids can try out their own dance moves following the program. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                 
• Check out the multi-panel informational display from the Erie Canal Museum in honor of the canal's 200-year anniversary. The display will be set up in the library from March 3-25. Sponsored by Friends of BML.                                                                                                                                         
• Sign up to receive monthly themed Talking is Teaching Bundles for children ages birth to 4 years at www.brightonlibrary.org/children.                                                                                                 
• Tweens in grades 4-8 can register for BML's monthly subscription service: Tween Swag Bags (TSB) and receive themed library books, freebies, crafts or activities, and snacks. Fill our the TSB registration form at www.brightonlibrary.org/teens.
